In partnership with Capital Shopping Centres through Metro Centre and Eldon Square, this programme supports young people on work placement studying BTEC qualifications in Business with Retail. These placements provide a real life context from which students can draw on their experiences to inform their academic learning.

The EBP works to secure high quality extended work placements with local retailers and provides a series of work experience preparation workshops focusing on employability skills, customer service and health and safety.

Once the placements start, the EBP monitors attendance and acts as a first point of contact to deal with any issue or concerns from the retailers, the school or the students.
